The Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration (NASFA), Major General Monday Ihanuwaze, and the Honourable Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Lagos State, Honourable Hafeez Adekunle, have each paid separate courtesy visits to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division, Major General Farouk Mijinyawa, at the Division Headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, on 7 October 2025.
The visits were aimed at strengthening existing collaborations and fostering enhanced synergy between 81 Division, NASFA, and the PCC to ensure more effective service delivery.
In a press statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Musa Yahaya, Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations, 81 Division, Nigerian Army, it was disclosed that during his visit, Major General Ihanuwaze reaffirmed NASFA’s commitment to deepening its long-standing partnership with 81 Division. He emphasized the school’s dedication to maintaining high professional standards in training clerical and accounting personnel.
In his remarks, Major General Mijinyawa congratulated the Commandant on his well-deserved appointment and commended the high standards maintained at NASFA. He assured the Commandant of the Division’s continued support for the institution.
In a related development, Honourable Hafeez Adekunle, the PCC Commissioner for Lagos State, also visited the GOC, seeking deeper collaboration to strengthen the Commission’s capacity in fulfilling its mandate. In response, Major General Mijinyawa reiterated the Nigerian Army’s commitment to fairness and transparency. He highlighted the internal mechanisms in place to address complaints and ensure justice within the military system.
Both visits concluded with the exchange of souvenirs and group photographs, symbolizing the renewed commitment to inter-agency cooperation and mutual support.
