The Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng today 15/1/2023 at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, joins other service commanders in the state, to honour our security forces/personnel who paid the supreme price in service to the Nation.
In keeping the hope alive, the CP states that the occasion gives cause for reflection to remind us of the sacrifices made by our security forces in preserving the unity of this country and protecting lives and property.
A statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Command DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, reads that the highlights of the event include the Inspection of the parade mounted by the Nigeria Army, Navy, and Nigeria legion by HE Governor Chukwuma Soludo CFR, prayers and observation of silence for the fallen officers, the placing of wreaths, and other significant exhibitions that made the event colorful.
