The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 headquarters, AIG Adegoke M. Fayoade, mni, psc, received the zonal commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) zone 8, Lagos ACGN Stella Ngozi Ngwoke on a courtesy visit at the zonal headquarters, Onikan, Lagos on a familiarization visit.
According to a press statement issued by DSP Afolayan Gbenga, the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer of Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos. In the course of her visit, the Assistant Commander General of Narcotics stated that the visit was aimed at building synergy, support and collaboration with the police in the fight against drugs and substance abuse especially when there is the need for a large scale operation.
AIG Adegoke M. Fayoade while appreciating the Zonal Commander welcomed her to the Command and reassured her that the Police will actively collaborate and support the NDLEA by providing the necessary and required assistance whenever the need arises as the menace of drug/substance abuse and its supply is becoming a pandemic in our society.
