The Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba has expressed his appreciation for the National Assembly and the support of well-meaning Nigerians in the successful passage of two significant bills on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

The bills in question are the Police Pension Board Bill and the Nigeria Police Force College, Training School, and Institution (Establishment) Bill.
According to the IGP based on the statement released by the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters Abuja, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the approval of these bills marks a major milestone in reshaping the country’s approach to policing.

The IGP expressed confidence that the bills would soon receive the President’s assent, leading to their full implementation.
