The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) continues to underscore its commitment to advancing technological infrastructure and fostering innovation in Nigeria, as demonstrated by the recent visit of its Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, to the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Institute (AMTDI) in Jalingo, Taraba State.
The purpose of Halilu’s inspection visit was to engage with the management team of AMTDI, identify operational challenges, and explore potential areas for enhancement to align the institute’s goals with NASENI’s mission. AMTDI, a key institute under NASENI, focuses on the advancement of manufacturing technologies through research, development, and the dissemination of innovative solutions aimed at driving Nigeria’s industrial growth.
During his visit, Halilu evaluated the equipment and working conditions at AMTDI, emphasizing the need for a well-equipped and conducive environment to support research and development. His assessment aimed to identify critical needs and opportunities for upgrading the institute’s facilities to meet global standards.
