The management of River Park Estate has alerted the public about illegal sale of some parcels of land within the estate by fraudulent individuals.
The warning came on the heels of reported violation of the order by Abuja High Court that statusquo be maintained pending the determination of the final suit.
There has been ongoing litigations about the ownership of the estate located along the Abuja Airport Road.
In the warning notice signed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), JonahCapital Nigeria Ltd, Kojo Ansa, River Park Estate advised extreme caution when dealing with certain individuals who are fraudulently marketing and selling parcels of land within the estate.
“Be informed that these lands are currently under legal dispute, and any transactions carried out with unauthorized parties may result in serious legal and financial consequences.
“Please be informed that JonahCapital Nigeria Ltd is the exclusive and lawful allottee of River Park Estate, hence, anyone interested in acquiring property within the estate is strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including but not limited to;
a) Verifying title status at the Department of Lands,
b) Confirming legal proceedings at the High Court of the FCT and Federal High Court; c) authenticating the identity of directors of JonahCapital Nigeria Ltd with the Corporate Affairs
Commission.
