The Anambra State Police Command has announced the discovery of a three-month-old baby in front of Oraukwu Boys Technical College. The baby, found today, July 2, 2024, was recovered by a good Samaritan and taken to Eziowelle Police Station.

Despite efforts to locate the baby’s parents or relatives, all attempts have so far been unsuccessful. Consequently, the baby has been handed over to the Director of the Welfare Department, Idemili North LGA, for safe custody.

The police are appealing to the public, especially residents of Anambra State, to assist in identifying the baby and reuniting them with their family. Anyone with information that could help is urged to come forward.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, has requested that this information, along with the baby’s picture, be widely disseminated to aid in the search.
