Comptroller General, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Col. Hameed Ali (Rtd) has officially launched the ‘Project Management Office’ of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
He unveiled the facility on Thursday, while also flagging off the ‘Modernisation Project’ of the Nigeria Customs, in Abuja.
Emphasizing that although the project was initiated by NCS, Ali Management Office has become a Presidential Initiative, and its successful implementation will have a transformative effect on NCS’s reform, restructuring, and revenue generation.
Ali highlighted the importance of leveraging technology to adapt to evolving trade dynamics, optimize operations, and unlock new revenue streams while emphasizing that the efforts would contribute to the overall economic growth and well-being of Nigerian citizens.
He noted that the launch of the Modernisation Project symbolizes not only the culmination of hard work but also a celebration of NCS’s determination, resilience, and foresight.
